How to Sell My Photos Through A Web Site I am an artist/photographer who would like to know how to go about selling my work on a Web site. Can you help me with suggestions to get started and things I might do to get ready for this? Thanks.

Hi Lorraine, I recently found 2 books that have helped me, and may give you some insight into what you need to do. Interestingly enough, they were advertised right here on BetterPhoto. One is How to shoot stock photos that sell by a woman named Michal Heron. She really gets into the business end of things, which is what I suspect you want! The other is Big Bucks, selling your Photography by Cliff Hollenbeck. This book is a little more glitzy (for lack of a better description) but also gives detailed information on the steps to take. You can order right through the Amazon.com link on this site, or ask for them by author at your local bookstore. I hope this will be of some help or at least get you going in the right direction!
