How shoot in the water.

What is the best way to reduce or eliminate water beading on the lens of my water housing when shooting? (I am getting into water shots for bodyboarding/surfing)

If you're looking for something to put on the housing, maybe water repellent like is used for windshields. Rain-X.
Or if not, what works for riding a motorcycle clearing your helmets faceshield, buy a windshield wiper replacement blade and cut the end of whatever length you need. Glue it to the back of the index of thumb of a glove. You know have a little finger sized squegee.
For your case, maybe one scube glove on your non-focusing hand.
