Photography Question

Removing glued paper from back of the print

I had submitted 8" x 12" size prints for a competition - exhibition. The organizers glued the prints on a paper to put on the display board. The prints are stuck to large extent( more area ) to the paper. How to remove the paper without damaging the prints?

It might not be possible to remove the prints without damaging them.

Would it be easier to just reprint them?

I used to work in a proffesional lab in my town and we used to do this all the time. You might want to check if you have a lab in your town and ask.

Hello Debbie, How was the lab doing it? Nothing can be done at home?
But a good pointer you suggested. Thank you very much.

They soak it somehow in something....I never did it actually because I worked in the front lines but I know they did it all the time.
