kell, please look at teh epson line for some of the finest photo quality printers made for the public: the R320 wonderul printer for under200.00 I own 4 of them. the R800 uses dye not ink, for quality prints for a lifetime. it's all in the dpi. I do hope this helps, Debby Tabb

Kelly, you don't mention what size photos you wish to print, but I can suggest the Kodak 1400 dye sublimation printer - this is primarily made for event photographers (like wedding, reunion, graduation, etc) who like to be able to sell up to 8x10 photos at the venue. There are pros and cons to each technology (inkjet versus dye sub) so perhaps a better understanding of your goals will help.

deffinatly do your home work before your purchase. I use the R300 (R340 now) on On Site Jobs they are well made and light wieght and do the job easily. I have had them for 2 years now and the prints last. here is a link to the R340 on the Epson site ( look there for a link to it's info page) http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=58654762
To see more on all here is the Epson home link: I would do the same through Kodak.com

Well as with most here on BP, I do not mind helping if I can. I remember how hard it was getting info. on my own- now I study up on things that are available almost everyday, lol. I hope it makes your life and others a bit easier. Though everyone will come to thier own conclusions as to what works for them.
