Photography Question

Tami Rook

I did it.....

I did it this weekend, I have been working with the apertures and the shutter speed as well as the other things. This weekend I took the last auto off (auto Focus) LOL I had a great fear of doing this because my eye sight is so off (depth) and it turned out great.
Thank you guys for pushing me to shut off all the auto. My photo’s are defiantly improving now. I would love to show you however I also blew my laptop this weekend (ouch) I am going back a forth do I have it repaired or do I buy a new laptop…. I love my laptop it has a 17” screen (not light weight) plasma screen. When I do anything on it the prints come out the same way….. you have to love that…. Enough of that I do want to say Thank you to those of you that gave me input.

Congratulations!! I have to admit, I use autofocus all the time, except when I do macro (and of course when I have one of my lensbabies on the camera) and the sight in my shootin' eye is deplorable! Great job and look forward to the photos!

  Good for you!

Getting to know the manual settings is always a great idea. Personally, I use auto focus for most situations too, because the manual mode on my Fuji is difficult to use.
