Photography Question

Whats wrong with these Photos

Please chesk out these two photos of the same lilly. The first is straight from the camera, The second is with auto Color correction with photoshop elements. What is with the Yellow tint in the first shot ? Can someone shed some light on how to correct this ? Is it something to do with WB ?

Yes, it is probably something to do with White Balance. What were the lighting conditions and what was the WB setting?

AWB, like autoexposure, doesn't always get it right. In this case it got close enough that it could be fixed in post-processing, but better would be to directly set a pre-set WB, or use the Custom White Balance feature.

use a grey card, or Expodisc. This will allow for a custom white balance. Both are awesome.
