Yes, it is probably something to do with White Balance. What were the lighting conditions and what was the WB setting?

Hi Jon... It was around 10 am, not overcast full sun...And I had the camera set to AWB ... Thanks...

What good Is AWB if it throws out stuff like this ?

AWB, like autoexposure, doesn't always get it right. In this case it got close enough that it could be fixed in post-processing, but better would be to directly set a pre-set WB, or use the Custom White Balance feature.

use a grey card, or Expodisc. This will allow for a custom white balance. Both are awesome.
