How to set exposure for custom white balance For most of my portraits, I utilize a solid white background (high-key). Therefore, good white balance is critical for my images. I have been using a grey card to initially set the exposure and then shoot the white card to use for setting my custom white balance. I've read you can also use the white card to set exposure prior to setting custom white balance. I thought this sounded like it could improve my images since I use a solid white background. Would this be a better way to set my exposure? If so, how do I set exposure using the white card instead of the grey card? Thanks, Scott
