Photo Software

I know that all photography software will let you rotate an image 90 degrees, but is there one which will let you just tweak it just a few degrees? My problem is that I am new to digital and haven't gotten any specific software yet. I shot a nice picture at a beach amd made the amateurish mistake of not making sure that horizon on the water was level. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ken! I am new as well, but just Sunday I worked with this in my picture Peace and Quiet in my gallery. I use paint shop pro 8, and used the straighten tool. You can choose auto, and the program will do it little by little, (I had to do it 3 or 4 times)or manually put in how many degrees you want the photo to move.
Hope this helps!

PhotoShop has the ability to rotate images by as little as 1 degree. there are also tons of books available on this site that will give you step by step on some of the the most helpful features available to photoshop users...downside is the cost of the software. Most economical way to correct the photo is to just show it to people crooked...JK

Ken--use the straighten tool as someone mentioned above. I use it all the time to level horizons and to tweek an image a few degrees left and right. Lorri
