All About White Balance
Hi, I have a FujiFilm S5000, and although I know what white balance is and how to use it manually, my camera does not let me do it manually. It has three bars number 1,2&3 but I dont know what to use them for, it also has a sun and a sun behind a cloud. Thanks. Ross.

Ross, Have u tried reading your camera's manual? Short of that, if you know what white balance is then i'd suggest you go out and take some photographs in different conditions with the different white balance settings on your camera. Then you can see first hand what difference it makes. Its pretty simple, for shooting outdoor in sunny situation put it on the sun, in overcast put it on the sun behind cloud and so on. Although, like I said, try experiment with all the settings in all the different conditions. Im sure others will add something here but you really should read the manual :)

Hi Ross, I have used your camera before and just do a search for the manual online...or go to dpreview.com and it'll tell you all the functions and what they do.
