Photography Question

Powell Gardens - Kansas City - Butterflies

For those of you that live in Kansas City, Powell Gardens is having the annual Festival of Butterflies from now until August 20th. Festival activities are on the 11th - 13th and 18th - 20th, but the butterflies will be in the conservatory the entire time until the 20th.

They are not allowing tripods this year except for one day and then you must pay $5.00 to use one. Photography Day is on August 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I'm wishing I had macro flash about now. I refuse to go on Photography Day. The conservatory is fairly small and if there's only 3 or 4 photog's in there it's going to be difficult to move around. Unfortunately some of them aren't willing to share the space either. The weekends are generally very crowded. I'm hoping to get out there some time during the week.

Details are at Powell Garden's web site.

You're welcome, Sam! I know there are a few BPers that live in the KC area so I thought some of them might like to know. I am a member at the gardens so I always get something in the mail when there's special events.
