slide copiers I've got a bunch of slides that I would like to get on a disc, has anyone used those slide copiers that mount onto the front of a lens? Is there much quality loss? Thx

You'd probably get better results having them scanned. I've used those slide copiers years ago...in an attempt to save some money by making my own duplicate slides. The results I got were marginal at best.

Thx Bob. The latest I heard was it cost about 50c a piece to have them scanned so like you I was hoping to save a little money.

Darren, you might consider buying a film scanner that has a slide adapter. I purchased a Canon Canoscan 8400F, an all purpose flatbed with film and slide adapters. It does a good job but is a little slow. Most of the photos in my gallery are scanned film negatives. I can scan a few slides this evening and upload them if you'd like to see the quality of the scan...M

Thanks Marquee. Sorry it took so long to get back. If it's not alot of trouble sure I'd love to see how they come out.

Darren, My apologies for the delay in posting the slides. I put the scans in my gallery because I was having hard time attaching them. The ones im the florist shop are dark. I didn't have my speedlight with me. I hope this helps.
