My Dial Is Stuck...

I just dug out our old Minolta XG-M today, and at one point I turned the dial on the shutter button to "A" and now it won't turn back, in either direction. Did I break it, or am I just doing something wrong?? Please help, thanks!

Uh, oh. I never had the camera, so I can't tell you if the dial should lock, but I would contact the company before trying to force it.

The dial locks in the A position. To release it you have to press the Auto-setting Release/Battery Check Button next to it.
