Try logging in and uploading the images from your computer again. What equipment did you use? Maybe you have too many lenses or you use bad lenses or maybe you need a lens hood?

Joy, ignore Darth. (Darth, this site has a purpose, and people can only legally be a part of this site under certain conditions. See http://www.betterphoto.com/forms/termsPopup.php. Particularly this part:

  Sorry, didn't work.

Anyway, ghosting is when the light bounces around in the lenses before hitting the sensor, causing image problems.

I would like the description of the problem to be clearer, and that she try uploading the images to the discussion again.

  Hello Joy,

Hard to say precisely "what went wrong" without seeing the example.
If I had to guess, I would put my money on the accent light causing the problem as I would assume your softbox, off cam opteka are behind your camera. The accent light is no doubt a hair light? If so, this light is in front of the cam, so that may be the source of your stray light.
Shoot again w/o the accent and see what happens.

All the best,

Pete

Joy, will you please try uploading the images again so we can better help you?
Maybe try signing in completely before uploading images to a discussion.

Yes Joy, try fully signing in, and uploading the pictures. Note: you must reupload them from your computer. Unless they've changed it, there is no Photo ID box. Also, please just ignore Darth, he is our resident name-changer/trouble-maker.

Yeah, it's kind of misleading that they let you choose to upload images and then not let you if you weren't completely signed in. Also, the Photo ID box never worked for me. I just wonder why BP doesn't block the IP address Darth uses or set a blocking cookie on his computer.

Yes, it is misleading. A long suggested solution, is removing the email login, and makeing you always fully login.

Yes, they really need to block his IP address. They should be able to do it. InvisionFree(Free forums), can block IP addresses, so BP should be able to. For the first few months he was here, it was amusing trying to expose him. But now, it's just annoying.

  Like what? Not nude photos
They blocked me already. Did you ever hear of a computer that changes its IP address every 30minutes, neat huh.

Most Internet connections use a few addresses. They just need to block the rest you use. You've not posted nude photos, but close to it and sexually suggestive.

Yes, he has posted some sexually suggestive photos. And from what I've heard, none of them are his. They're copied from stock sites.

Hey, now those stock sites can sue Shady! And he has a double no-no on BP.

Those who can do photography; DO, those who can not, post their stupidity for all to see.

"...and that's all I have to say about that!" Forest Gump

Best advice?..Ignore him, he will lose interest!

Good advice, but trouble is, we've been saying that for more than a year now, and he's still here. I still think our best bet is an IP address block.

you guys are dreaming. You have no proof. How many people use the computer before and after me. The IP address at the internet cafe changes every 30 minutes I'm told to keep hackers out of the system. Of coarse I have to show ID to use the computer, but they don't keep a record.

Nobody cares except a few. Funny thing is that I have other screen names and we get along fine. I've even won a contest with one of my shots, but I don't want to ruin my image with my good name.

I do not pretend that I have led a blameless life, or that one fault justifies another, but the public in judging a case like mine should remember that the darkest life may now have a bright side
