Slide show put to music?

Hey,
I need to find a way to make a slide show of prints and put it to music on either a CD or DVD.
Does anyone have any idea on a program that would do that?
I have Photoshop CS, but all that that lets me do is make a PDF slide show, it does'nt let me put any music with it, and it also doesn't really let me do anything with the presentation.
So any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks again!

  Collette,
You could try Microsoft Photo Story. It's free and VERY easy to use.

Version 3.0 has added lots of new transitions, and lots of options for saving the slideshow for different uses.

Go to microsoft.com, click on Downloads, then type "photo story" in the search box and you'll find it.

If you are PC, proshow producer is almost a job in itself. The results are phenominal, so the hard work will pay off. It is almost like cutting your own film together and you can burn DVD's for TV or computer screens. Wild screen viewing is the best. $400 but well worth it. Just make a wedding/client package with a slideshow included and charge them $400 for it with their favorite soundtrack. They can preview first online and tell you what they like or don't like and then you give them 3 clean copys....program paid for

proshow gold is only around $70.00 for the download and it's wonderful.. i've been using it for years to make slideshows with music.. the longest show i've done has been about 65 minutes..

hmmm, 65 minutes, you mean they have to sit through that. I think a couple of tracks 3 to 4 minutes long should do the trick.

i work with developmentally challenged adults.. all the pictures taken of them at various functions and activities are made into slide shows.
they are not normally that long, mostly 30 to 40 minutes consisting of an average of 150 pics and 10 songs.
the 65 minute one was from wedding photos. the bride wanted all her pics and all the specially chosen music..
3 to 4 minutes would not even give a whole song..

Hello every one. I just so happen to be reading through some Q&A's and came across this one. Does anyone have any suggestions on programs for Mac users? I currently use DVD studio pro 3, but I do not feel it has enough templates for weddings. Is it worth upgrading the the newest DVD studio pro, or are there any better programs out there?

I have photoshop elements 4.0 and it has a "create" section where you can make your own slide shows put to music. I tried it for the first time and it worked really well for me. They had a selection of music tracks and I added text and transitions. I think it went about 60 minutes. I burnt a few copies to DVD and sent them to family in Australia and they have had no trouble watching them.

i have several programs to make slide shows.. proshow gold is the only one I found that lets you put your own music .. I get my music from bought cd's or downloaded from limewire so I always can find songs to match the pictures..

I have used Intervideo WinDVD Creator. I created it like an acutal dvd with a menu and background music. It worked really well.
