Photography Question

Michael Wasson

Really need some feedback

I am getting to the point where I feel I may be ready to step out and start doing portraits and such as a business. My primary subjects would be children, and senior portraits. I have posted several of my photos but have not recieved much feedback. I understand there are thousands upon thousands of photos on this sight, still I have come to this sight far a reason. To learn and get feedback.Anyone who has a moment or two of time and would not mind helping out a newbie feel free to visit my gallery. In case the question comes up the answer is yes I have done several reviews and discussions myself in hopes of getting feedback on my on Photos.

Michael - You have wonderful subjects - which helps! Some of your photos are excellent, try sticking to the rule of thirds where possible as you've done in 'my fair lady'. Maybe use a wider aperture too on some of the outdoor shots to get more blur in the background. Sometimes lightening the eyes a little bit with dodge tool or similar can add life to a portrait. You've captured some great expressions in these photos!
