Photography Question

Matthew Cannedy

Reusable dessicant

Does anyone know of a good brand or type of dessicant that I can include in my lens storage cases? A kind that can be dried and reused? A kind that does not emit any type of gas etc... that could damage lenses? A kind that also indicates when it is saturated?
I can't seem to find what I need. Thanks. -Matt

Howdy Matt: Keh.com sells dessicant as does bhphotovideo.com. You can either buy large cans to recharge smaller containers or smaller containers pre-filled that will fit in camera cases, bags, etc. The types I've bought from these guys in the past is an indicator type, that turns red when it's exhausted and after drying it out in the oven for a while, it changes back to bluish white.

The problem is that the stuff seems to last forever. LOL !!!

Take it light.
Mark
