360 one shoot lens/please respond....

I was wondering if anyone owns a 360 one shot lens for real estate shots.

If so, where can I purchase one for a reasonable price?

Thanks

well right here ! for 1,000,000 i'll sell you any of my lenses and although you yourself will have to turn 360 I think it will work.
actually you'd still need a camera to mount it to.

  No joke Sam, they exist.

Done with a parabolic mirror. A circular image is captured, then software "unwraps" it to make a horizontal 360° panorama.

I was asking about the lens because virtual tours is looking for photographers to take pictures of home to post on their website in my area.
I have all the equipment except the lens they require. I looked it up online and the lens is expensive and not something I would invest in. You have to buy a lens and software and I feel if they want you to have this to work for them they should provide it. I guess it's a way for them to make money, but they won't get mine. If you go to the website jon posted you'll see for yourself.. I guess I'll look for another photography gig.

Thanks

You know I had thought how do they do that....and what do you know someone out there with way to much time and just enough gooberism thought it up! I would not have thought it I can tell you that much... just wondering what do realestate places pay for that sort of work?

what are they asking you to do. Does it have to be in one shot as I suspect many of the 360 shots you see on the internet are done using many shots stictched together. My room mate used to do it for fun and it came out really well and he was using a point and shoot and just some software to make it work. I would research more of doing it with several pics and a tripod and you might be able to get the gig with the equipment you have and not much time invested in it. Just my opinion.
