Canon EF 28-135 Lens

Just dropped my lens off to get repaired. The Auto Focus stopped working. Anyone have this problem with this lens or any other? What did it cost to fix it?
Thanks.

Well, the auto focus was repaired, but when I use this lens, the camera will freeze up at random times. An error message will come up. If I turn it off and back on, sometimes it'll be ok, but other times it'll keep doing it. The cost to repair the auto focus was $250 if I remember correctly. What kind of lens are you having trouble with? How old is it?

Well, that's what it cost me a couple years ago. It was sent to Canon. Maybe you could find someone local who could fix it for less. Be worth looking into. It's a nice lens.
