Submission to monthly theme contest Hi all, Where do I access the option to submit to the monthly theme contest? I can't find that anywhere. If I click on Monthly Theme, there are links to see guidelines and recent submissions, but no links to actually submit a photo. How are you all doing that????? Please help. Thanks!

If your a member of BetterPhoto, - Sign in - Click on My Better Photos tab - look down to Enter the Contest, you have two choices, already uploaded image "Your Photos" or to upload an image. - Choose 1, select contest theme "Monthly contest" and submit. ~Daniel

Nope...When I click on the option to enter from "Your Photos", I do not see any option for the monthly contest. If I click on a photo to enter, I get the message that I have already entered one photo today,and that I should visit tomorrow to enter another. In other words, it is only recognizing my activity in the daily contest. Nothing about the monthly. I've tried everything, I think. No luck. Thanks for trying to help.

Tamra - they are all monthly contests and in each category only one entry per day. The monthly theme is a special category where the subject matter changes each month.

Right. If I click on the Monthly Theme tab, I don't get any upload/submit options - nor from my member home page. I thought it might be my browser, Safari, so I tried with Explorer. No luck. ARGH!!!!!

Tamra - guess I'm not being very clear, you only get to enter one photo a day. You get to choose which category to enter it into, and "monthly theme" is just a category like any of the others. If you try tomorrow you will be able to enter a photo into "monthly theme".

Aha! Now I understand. I thought it was possible to submit to the monthly theme "even though" a submission was entered into the daily contest. So, what you're saying is that it's "either, or". So, if I submit to the monthly theme, let's say, tomorrow, I will have to wait until the next day in order to submit to the daily contest. I can't do both on the same day, right??? Thanks for clarifying!

Tamra - When you click on your photos (and if you have pictures already loaded) then under each picture is an option to "Enter into Contest" now if you have not already entered a picture for the day (your limit is 1 per day for any competition) then you have a drop down with all the competitions available and the last one is the Monthly conest. - I you have not loaded pictures yet then you will have to use the other option; upload image, title it, description, pick competition; monthly contest, camera, click terms, and submit

I have the same concern too. So I sign in, then select My Member Center, then Better Photos tab, though I do not see where to submit to a monthly theme...

Kevin, the contest is no longer open to those who have a free gallery, unless at some point in time you have taken a class or had a paid gallery. This new rule went into effect around July 1st.

There is only a "monthly" contest with the option to enter one shot a day. The folks at Better Photo come up with an idea each month for a "Monthly Theme". It is simply one of the categories to choose from.
