Best Wide/Large Printer for the Price?? I need some opinions, whats thebest printer for the price? I was looking at the HP 8750 and some Epson models. Also if anyone has opinions on Sub Dye vs. Ink Jet. Thanks Alot.

I have an 8750 I'm very pleased with. The vivera inks in combination with the HP premium plus photo papers give excellent results - although print cost is not cheap. This ink/paper combination is physically very rugged (and archival), the paper expands when wet and absorbs the ink, although it will still water spot, especially when not completely dry.

I'd look at the Epson R1800, R2400, and if you're willing to look at a used printer, the R2200. I picked up an R2200 for $250 that prints 13" beautifully. This was the best inkjet printer a few years ago and is still one of the best. You can get continuous ink systems for these printers to cut your ink costs by 90% or more, too.
