Photography Question

Becky Young

Do you offer some type of refund if....

Hi,

I shoot photos as a serious hobby and have made a little money selling them to the company I work for to use in their advertising, etc..

Our sister company has approched me about doing a photoshoot at their research farm. Since I am just an amatuer I am concerned about charging a fee to come out there and then some of the photos not come out. What would be the best thing for me to do? Some shots will be inside the barn and those are the ones I am concerned about b/c I sometimes have trouble with indoor photography and getting the lighting right. I know the outdoor photos will be fine. Do I offer a refund if some of them don't come out? Do I just charge a fee per photo they decide to buy (they want unlimted usage).

Thanks in advance for the advice!

A wise man once told me:
When you give away your work, in other words when its free – it has no perceived value.

Charge a fee for your work!

If some of the important pics don't come out, then I would offer to reshoot for free.
