I have a loud, flowery shirt if you want to borrow it. ;-) Is it going to be outdoors, at night? Do you know what kind of lighting there will be?

LOL, thanks for the offer! The Luau will start mid afternoon and will go thru the night hours and will take place outside by the pool. Tiki torches and a few porch lights will supply my lighting. Would flash be overpowering? I am open to any suggestions. I will be using a film camera as requested.

Don't forget your tripod and cable release for the fire dance. With long shutter speeds, you can get some awesome effects.
