How could i have made this shot better
I am a very keen photographer (its my biggest hobby). i took these photos at a wedding yesterday and would like your advice on how I could have made the shots better. thanks Aileen

You could have asked your subjects to look at your camera. You could have use a bit more flash [Photoshop's fill-flash tool can help here.] You could have moved your subject to a location where wall decorations wouldn't compete for interest.

Also, the shadows around the subjects' heads are from using on-camera flash. To eliminate the shadows, try moving them farther away from the wall, and using a flash on a flash bracket that holds it higher above the lens.

I agree with what has been said. The background is too busy and distracting. It would have been nice if they were looking at you or perhaps each other. Keep up the good work!
