Micro stock pay scale

Saw in Picture magazine an article about iPhoto. I think that's the name. It was one of the better known micro stock companies that starts with an i. They mentioned what they pay. Don't remember all of them, but what did stand out was for one what was their highest percentage yield, I believe. As far as what they charge for use and what goes to the photo person.
For low res files, they charged $1, and the photo person got .20 cents. But for the highest res files, they have a credit system. Whereas, you get a credit every time a high res file is downloaded by somebody. But the thing is, for high res files they charge $200, but the photo person has to get 10 credits. And then they are paid $2.
So, eventhough many are very happy to get a start or see it as a career oppurtunity, to me and maybe to others, not a great thing.
