Porter's

Has anyone heard of Porter's? I was going to order some camea and studio equipment and wanted to make sure they had a good rep.

Hi Holly - Porter's is a legitimate company. I purchased some items from them a number of years ago and was happy with what I received. However, I would advise first checking B&H Photo Video since their prices are often better.

Porter's has been around for many decades. I've purchased many unusual and hard-to-find items from them in the past. They are legit, and easy to work with. Unless they've changed recently, their prices on standard photo items always seems to be higher than elsewhere. But they do offer many unique items that are quite useful in your camera bag.

Porter's Camera Store in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Know them well. I've been doing business with them since I discovered them in the early ninties. Very reputable, knowlegeable, and trustwotherthy. Two Thumbs Up. They also have some very hard to find items.

Have fun and keep shooting,
Mark H.

Get their catalog/newspaper which includes so much info. But, as Michael said, they're more expensive that Adorama or B&H.

  Hi there

I have been doing business with Porter's for many years in Cedar Rapids, IA... I trust them with anything I need done. I have purchased all my cameras from them. They get my vote! Hope this helps!
