untitled Do you derate your professional films. exampel, fuji NPS 160 to 125 and Fuji NPH 400 to 320. Also, 800 to 640. On Kodak NC & VC to 125 and 320? Please respond. thank you

I haven't ever used the Fuji but I do rate my NC/VC films lower (and generally speaking most of my negative films). I rate my 160 @ 100 and the 400 @ 250. But as with any film/equipment combination you need to determine what works best for you. Everyone's equipment is different as well is their taste. The numbers you gave in your examples are the numbers you hear all the time but you can see from my numbers that you should only use such information as a guide.
