Photo Contest Entries Sorting?? How in the world are contest entries sorted? I entered one just now, and it showed up on the second page of the category I entered it, but in the "Recent Entries" page it's nowhere to be found (I even scrolled back 12 pages to my entry yesterday looking for it)! When I went to my contest entries and clicked on it, then clicked on it again, it took me to the "Incoming" pictures page. Well, there's a picture that was right next to mine on that page that is now on page one of the Recent Entries page, and mine nowhere to be found!! Just wondering if anyone knew the sort priority...

Recent Entries are sorted by Photo ID#. So if your entry today was actually an image already living in your photo collection, ie, from a prior upload, it will have a "stale" Photo ID number, behind anyone's more recently-uploaded photos. Therefore the Recent Entries is never a chronological sorting by entry date... it is by original upload date. You'll usually only see your Contest Entry show up on Page 1 of "Recent Entries", for a few hours, IF you are uploading that file directly into the contest as the first time that file has ever been placed anywhere on BP. And even then, BP gets about 800 entries a day, so Page 1 gets a very quick turnover! ;)
