Wrong File Header


 
 
I lost my digital photographs in a computer crash, I invested in a retrieval program, as the 'lost' photo's were of a very high sentimental value. This program found my 'lost' photo's and I was able to put them back into my photo folder.

However when I try to view the photo's in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer only three open and I have received the following message:- cannot read the file header - when trying to open the others

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to resolve this problem?

The photos will not open in any program - I've sent four photo's in an attachment - two of my niece one that will open and one that will not open, also two of my brother-in law with the same problem.

I've two or three hundred photo's in my picture folder and there is approximately 60 - 70 which are the same - will not open, can't read the file header?
