Is 35mm ok for Fashion/Advertising?


I'm just now getting into some fashion and advertising photography, and had the following question for any professionals out there: Is it acceptible to work in 35mm for small fashion retailers (local) and ad firms (who will only blow up the images to magazine size anyway)? The catalogues/magazines where such pictures will be used are small enough that to me 35mm seems sufficient. But I wasn't sure whether this would be deemed 'unprofessional' or 'inadequate' based on just what is customary. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.
