Not so busy debbie, not a whole lotta work either, paid that is.. too nervous that I'll mess up if someone pays me.. anyway reason am on so early is I like to check my email with my coffee while sophie watches her morning show while we both wake up.. It's my only solitude through the day..
Did you check my last maternity shoot, I would love it if you could take a look and offer any advice.. I am well aware that thelittle girls white top did not go at first but we were on a roll so we decided not to change till they took a break other than that.. I thought the pics were pretty good..

#21 sounds good to me. I set up a fairy scenery that I can now leave in place, I still need to add to it, but it’s a start. I have an odd shaped room that I'm using and found that I was able to utilize a tiny corner by hanging the backdrop diagonally and I used push pins to hang it. My trees are held in place with strands of christmas tree pearls at the moment. This scene is so rigged up, it is almost pitiful. But, the point is this, I wanted to post this to show that you don't always have to have a huge space or even a backdrop stand.

My actual workspace is 7.5' x 14' The room is an attic conversion. I have obstructions to work around such as a chimney and a plumbing pipe that runs straight up through the house to the roof for plumbing pressure. So although the room is larger, I'm limited on workable space. I have my main backdrop setup on one wall and on a small side wall I have set up the royal princess scene. I just thought it would be fun to give some ideas on how to work with what you've got. I just move the lights around as needed or use the great natural light in the room. I also have one more spot that can be used for head shots. I bought a $3.00 window shade and a bunch of $.44 bottles of acrylic paint, threw on a pair of old jeans and had some fun. I pull the shade down and have an instant backdrop. It is also amazing for blocking out unwanted sunlight.

Let’s face it, most of us want bigger and better…but we can find creative ways to work with what we have at hand. It is your studio so have fun with it.
