Sigma 50mm f2.8 EX DG > Your opinion please ? Hello there, Could any of the Simga 50mm f2.8 EX DG users share their experiences on this lens please ? I have plans to buy this lens for my Konica Minolta Dynax 7D. I read some reviews, some say good and some bad. I am bit confused now. Could you please share this info for me please.

I have one. It is a very good lens, among the sharpest 50mm lenses I have used. It is at its best at f/4 and above (like most lenses) and really shines from f/5.6 to f/11. I don't think you can buy a better AF true macro lens for anywhere near the price.
