Interesting info about Canon Actuations I just spoke with Canon in Irvine CA about a camera I'm purchasing and by giving them the serial number they were able to give me the Canon repair history along with registered owner and how many actuations the camera had as of it last service date 03/09/06. I inquired if it was indeed possible to use software to discover how many actuations and they said, NO. Don't know if I'm fortunate or they'll do this for everyone but that was pretty great service.
