PHOTOSHOP CS2 USE AS TRIAL I just downloaded photoshop cs2 as a trial period for 30 days. I am using a book called "photoshop cs2 for digital photographers" by Scott Kelby, which is a great book!, to learn some tricks. One of the suggestions he says is to change the color settings from the default which is srgbiec61966-2.1 because he says it's horrible. Well, I changed it to the adobe RGB 1998 and when I saved my document as a pdf file the thumbnail was completely black. In addition when I went to save as the color option wasn't RGB, it was the default and I couldn't change it. Does anyone know why this didn't change? I can't figure out why and why there was no option. I'm worried that all the time I spent retouching the photo is wasted and it won't print properly. I want to print it as my final 10 & 15 print and send it to my lab which tells me I have to the print in a valid ICC profile which the lab lists as either of the two I've mentioned. Which is correct? Before I downloaded this software for a trial I was using photoshop 6.0. When I changed the color setting according to Kelby's book, ever time I went to save, regardless of the extension, the default was changed to the Adobe RGB (1998). Will the trial not let me make this change? Any help is appreciated. Angie

Hmmm I never worried about the color for printing.. when I print I just make sure that the shot looks as good on my screen as it can then I print it out.. I get great prints from this. I allways make the shot the out put size I want then I set the dpi @ 300... dont know if it makes a difference as I have heard some say it does and some say it dont... but I figure.. if it aint broke dont fix it.. and I have been doing this for a few years so I will keep on doing this when I print.
