Iso setting for high sun I have a wedding Saturday, at 11am. I know it will be very sunny so I took a few test shots to see what the best settings may be, the shot is of my son, but my settings were iso 400 everything else auto, white balance was set for high sun, and I used a fill flash with a strobo frame, but his skin (to me) still looks a tad blown out, any suggestions??? I appreciate any!

Sooooooooooooooo, how bout dropping your ISO to something like 100 and when you take a reading, cut your exposure by 1/3 to 1/2 of one f-stop. Mark

Hey thanks Mark, I lost my blaring sun for the day so I am going to try it tomorrow, let you know how it goes, thanks again Kerry

You know Kerry, in terms of exposure, that shot of your son isn't really bad, at least on my IBM monitor. Maybe he seems to have a blotchy sun burn but the overall exposure looks pretty good. Let me know how it turned out.

Thanks so much for all the help, that is why I love this site so much! The wedding went great, I am just starting to edit some of the photos, but they look great, I only have a couple of pictures that I will have to photoshop a bit. Thanks again all! I am gonna upload one that I just did, not a traditional, but I thought it was kinda neet.
