Your work is very nice. I would recommend getting a cheep SLR camera maybe a Canon Rebel (or if you have more money a 10D or 20D) with a descent lens and tripod then sign up for one of the beginning classes here at betterphoto.com I took a class this past fall and I am planning to start another one in April. The information that I learned was so worth the cost of the class. I feel like a whole new photographer. I meet some nice people (the other students) and it is nice to get feed back from the instructor who is very accomplished in the field of photography, as well as feedback from the other students in the class. It was so much fun. I can't recommend taking a class strongly enough. Also the reason I recommend a SLR camera is so you can adjust aperture and shutter speed. Have fun and Good luck.
