Wyoming News KCWY13

IF anyone is from Wyoming on the KCWY channel 13 news on the five o'clcok, six o'clock, ten o'clock and tomorrow on the morning and noon news they running the image Wyoming Traffic Jam which I have on my site.

The feature a Wyoming Photographer's image each day.

I was going to Cody and we ran into tons of sheep all over the road and a cowboy on one side and a llama on the other escorting the sheep down the highway. We had to stop and let the traffic go by, so I hoped out and started taking images.

So if you from Wyoming try and caught the Wyoming News on one of the five time slots.

Kerby

  Thank you John.

It was lucky to come across this traffic Jam.

My husband said he thinks alot of people living in big cities would rather have this kind of Traffic Jam than all those cars. Kerby

Casey if your interested I can send you the email address to mail the pictures too. They have to be Wyoming landscape type images. They like weather related images.

I messed up on when I wrote the discription and said cowboy instead of sheepherder and the TV station heard from a whole bunch of cowboys and sheephearders that were mad.

I don't know if they pick another one of my pictures or not. I got to learn to phase things correctly.

Crystal Berryman had one on the other night also. She a BP member and close friend from the same town I live in.

Casey if your interested email me and I get the email address to you.

Most TV stations take state related shots, usually they prefer weather related stuff, but they also like sunsets and stuff like that.

Carolyn I have seen some beautiful sunsets on the TV station also.

Casey just make sure you phase things correctly in your discriptions.

Go ahead and send it to me, Kerby...thanks! Sorry to hear that you made some cowboys mad, in this state, sometimes that's easy to do. Over the silliest things... Don't even worry about it, Kerby! It's an awesome image! :0)

Casey he heard from both sheepherders and cowboys. He had several calls from both.

You do not call a sheepherder a cowboy and you do not call a cowboy a sheepherder in Wyoming. Not a good thing to do.

I email you the address to send you the email to the station in your personal email.

I am from Wyoming, Kerby but currently live in Florida. My family all lives there, though, and they saw it! Congratulations, what a great honor and opportunity! It was a great image and definitely shows a slice of country life. I remember cattle drives through the small town I used to live in and even a wagon train.

Thank you Anita I appriciate that.

I been in a few other traffic Jams, mostly cow ones but I never had the camera with me before. Now I always carry the camera with even to the store.

I would have loved to have seen the wagon train through your town I bet that wonderful.

Kerby, it was really fantastic! I forget where it started but (don't know how familiar you are with WY) I know it went through Geurnsey, Ft. Lararmie(where I lived), Lingle and ended up in Torrington where it ended with a rodeo. That is a memory I will cherish forever!
