Canon Rebates


I’m curious to know if anyone has had any problems getting their rebates back from Canon. I sent one in about a month ago and the web site that shows the rebate status is still indicating they have no information concerning mine. My rebate is for a rather large sum and I was very careful in making sure I sent all the required information. I’m just a bit nervous wondering if I’ll actually get it or not.

  Hi Robin - I sent mine in at the end of December... Nothing! Have contacted them twice and I still have nothing. I am just about ready to put a full press on them by complaints sent to the Better Business Bureau and Attorney Generals Office. I am an Ex CFO (i am retired) and this type of ($#!)#)@_) I have no tollorance for. I do not know what the outcome will be, but I am going down FIGHTING! Have a nice day! Cheers, Glenn.

  Thanks Glen. They owe me nearly $400 dollars..so I will definitely have a lot to shout about if I don't get it. You wouldn't think such a high profile company would do something like that.

  Back Again: Robin - After my rant (which made me feel much better), I went to Canon Web Site, Rebate Status. Thought I would have a good laugh when it would come up... "Glenn... Who?". I am in shock! It came up... "We are processing your rebate check and it will be mailed shortly!"
Sooo - Maybe you should contact them, and complain. Sometimes it works! Cheers, Glenn.
