advice on a SLR camera i am interested in pusruing the hobby of photgraphy and am looking for a camera to buy. I have found a pre-owned Canon Rebel EOS X, flash, one lens, and camera bag for $175. is this a good deal? what are some opinions about the EOS X?

Hi Brandon; Three years ago, I started losing the sight in my left eye to diabetic retinopathy. I bought an EOS Rebel X so I could keep shooting. I found it to be a good camera. I need to suggest something before you buy it. Go to a camera dealer and try it out. See if you like the positioning of the controls. The weight. How it handles. Try many different cameras. See what feels best to you. Everyone likes their cameras. Not everyone likes your camera. As for price, you say nothing about condition, which lense comes with it, and what flash is included. These are important factors as well. I would'nt worry too much about a case. Most dealers have used cases they will let go for as little as five bucks. I'd say to shop around. You don't buy the first car you see. Have a great night and keep shooting,
