Model Release for pets

I'm planning to shoot pet portraits at a local pet store. I will probably use some of the pictures in a portfolio and I told the store that they could use the pictures in future advertising, so I know that I need a release. I have a question about the "In exchange for" part of the release. I'm not paying them, they are paying me for the portraits.

Thanks,

Janet

Greetings JJP: So, you told the store that you could use them for advertising before you got the releases? LOL !!! Boy, are you gonna get jammed up if no one signs.

Your release should have words to the effect that for "good and valuable consideration, including, without limitation, photo credit identifying the animal and owner (if so agreed), X as owner of Y (dog) hereby grants JJP the right to publish in any manner or form, to display in portfolios and to sell and/or grant usage rights of these photographs for personal and/or other advertising purposes, including publicity of _________abc pet store."

Get the picture?
Take it light,
Mark
