Looking for advice on digital slr for action/sport

Hi im hoping anyone with experiance and well based knowledge can help me. I am looking for a digital slr to shoot skateboarding sequences as well single shots. I currently shoot video but would like to get into the photo aspect for magazines along with online publishing. I have been looking at the nikon D200 as well as the nikon d2x. I have a friend that shoots with the nikon F5 and he loves his camera, but im looking to go digital but would like to get the closest to the fps and quality as I can. any suggestions I would love to hear them.... for I am a NOOB starting out here but would like to start off on the right track. - Joe

Well, the Nikon D2H was designed for high frame rate work (as is Canon's high end model, whatever that is). It does have fewer pixels, but by most accounts the image quality is outstanding. You might want to check www.dpreview.com for additonal comments and reviews.
