Help with resizing in PS

HELP>> Is there any magic way to resize a photo to a 4x5 without half the picture being cropped away? I had a gal order a senior winged folio that has 4x5 openings and now as I go to resize them to 4x5's it completly ruins the shot b/c 1/2 of it is gone. There has got to be a way to do this I hope b/c then why in the world would they sell these folios in 4x5 if you can't get a true 4x5 print???
Please let me know if there is something I can do to resize them and save most of the photo. They just don't look good when I resize them to 4x5.
Frustrated!!

4x6 to 4x5 looses 17% so crop the best you can.

  Kristi,

4x5 is full frame for a medium format camera, and these were the portrait cameras of choice for many years. That's where the opening size comes from.

As Gregory says, you simply can't get 1.5:1 to 1:0.8 without cropping.

  Justin,

Good catch. You are correct. Large format.
