Leasing options Does anybody know of any companies that might offer leasing options for DSLR's. After I move back to Indy I might take the plunge into event photography. I would like to get a 5D with a 70-200 2.8 IS and a 50 1.4. But as you can tell this would put me roughly 4K in the hole and I really don't want to go the "loan" route considering my wife and I just got out of debt this paycheck. Thanks so much. Justin

I think leasing electronics is not much different than a high interest loan. You can lease a computer, but you are paying the full price over 3 years, plus a hefty financing charge, probably about the same as a credit card.

PS, Justin, a big congrats on eliminating your debt ;) You mentioned in passing, but what an accomplishment for anyone! I'm with you---very wary of ever going back there, even for the love of digital photography and a much-desired camera upgrade here, too! :)

Good Morning Justin, Boy I hate sending someone to a traditional camera store for things when on line sales can be so much cheaper. But I know you are determined andmaybe on a time scheduale concidering where you may want to take this camera. Calumet has Lease programes for most equiptment. and you can fill out th ework on thier website and get scheduale options. I do hope this helps (more then hurts, lol) have a great day, Debby
