Unfortunately, I read all your posts too late Hello everyone ! I'm from Quebec, Canada and this week, I received the "popular" letter saying that I was a semi-finalist... now I read all your comments and I'm devastated. I didn't order the book but did order the commemorative plaque... do you think that they'll send it to me ??? Should I try to call them to have it credited on my mastercard ??? I was so happy that finally something good was happening to me and now... I guess they stole me 60.95 U.S. funds... Thanks for your help, Nathalie

Call them and try to cancel. Maybe they'll give you your money back. I saw somewhere that at least one person got their money back.

If you don't receive your plaque, and if you can't get the refund from them, you could also try to fight it with your credit card company. I had a $2k trip to vegas that I canceled, and the airline was dragggging their feet on refunding me, and my credit card company credited me anyways, then they fought w/ the airline.

I know that someone payed through paypal, and they contacted paypal and told them it was a scam and they got their money back. So do like Denyse said and call your credit card company.
