Photography Question

Ok, which logo do you like best

Well, for the past year and a half now, I have had a logo that I haven't been to happy with, I have found it a little too boxy and not "girly" enough.

What do you think?

First one is old logo, curly one is my new one, do you like it?

I like them both, but yes I like the new one better. I also feel that it is a little more "girly" than the old boxy one.

  Natalie,

I like the New one better. IT classy, elegant and beautiful. This one makes it seem like your more serious about your photography.

The other one is loud and big does not do anything for me.

Sometimes classy and smaller is better.

Kerby

I like the new one, and not just because it's better than the old one, but I would like it if it were the only one. it shows creativity, compared to a boxy logo. nice work.

I vote for the new one too. The older one has too big letters for my opinion :O)

NEW ONE for sure! Classy & elegant.

On a side note, Natalie I've seen you in the "studio" threads. At one point I think you said you were shooting just w/ a digital rebel & speedlite- is that still true? Or have you moved up to studio lighting? I'm just wondering which lighting some photos in your gallery were shot with. (i'm wanting to get studio lights, but haven't made the move yet...)

  Natalie,
The new one is much better. How did you get these designs? I'm trying to figure out a name to start my business also a logo.

Mike.

Thanks everyone! I think i'll go with no.2. Although in defence of the first one, it normally isn't that big, just the way it downloaded.

Ok, to answer Denyse's question, yes I have now gone to Studio lights, although I loved the light I was getting from the speedlight, I found the radio slave very unrealiable. A Christening keepsake is down with the speedlight. I won't mention every single photo, but the one of the little baby in the yellow top, is done with studio lights, so is the one that I got my "finalist" for in the blue overalls. The other "finalist" of the baby in the towel has been done with the speedlight.

As you can see, there really isn't a lot of difference between the speedlight and the studio lights. It all depends on placement and how the speedlight bounces off the ceiling. I actually think the speedlight gave a more natural light (like it showered them with light softly).

Thanks Debbie, I really love A Christening Keepsake as well. My Tafe Teacher (like Collage) said it was perfect and I got a destinction for it. I am going to entered it into the Aust Inst Pro Photography awards this year, he seems to think it has everything it needs to give it a go.

Thanks for the reply Natalie! You give me encouragement that I can survive until I get studio lights! The baby in the towel is so awesome. The light is very natural, you're right.
