Diff. between WHITE UMBRELLAS and SILVER UMBRELLAS Can someone tell me what the difference between a WHITE UMBRELLA and a SILVER UMBRELLA? Is there a difference in the "LOOK" a photograph gets when one or the other is used? Seems to me like they would both get a clean white reflection of the light source. Thanks in advance Willie

White umbrellas are white and silver umbrellas are ..... . Well, I guess you know that part. White umbrellas will give you a softer light than silver ones. A white umbrella with a black back will lose less light so you might want to look into that.
