Shooting Random People I've read about a decent number of people on here who got a nice following by going to sporting events and the like, taking pictures, and eventually having the parents (or the participants themselves, dependant on the age) asking to buy the photos. This seems like an excellent avenue to take and one I would extremely enjoy. But what I'm wondering is this. How do you go about that? I can see doing it at a baseball game or something large. But I read one guy who said he went to a bowling alley and a golf course. Those are very specific locations where the athlete definitely knows you're photographing him or her. Have you ever gotten any bad responses? Do you ask them ahead of time if it's okay? Just curious how this goes... Thanks!!
