I always feel something of a charlatan when I offer critiques of someone else’s images since I am far from being an expert. But, I did look at your gallery and am struck by a couple of things. First, it is clear to me that you have a passion for photographing people and trying to capture individual essence and emotion in each image. Your people images speak very clearly and expressively to me. In fact, to my eye some of your people images – “with his best friend”; “incomplete man”; “ere…I was old” and “artistic face” remind me of images I have seen in great magazines such as National Geographic. Your nature shots are quite good, but, at least to my untrained eye, lack the emotion and power of your people shots. I also notice that a number of your animal/wildlife/flower images are a little blurry and that the color is not always true. This could be due to how they display on my monitor or to the uploading process, but it does detract from the image. Overall, I am very impressed.
