How to take a picture of the Moon

I have been trying to take pictures of the moon but everytime I do, they end up nothing but a big bright blur. Any suggestions?

Try faster shutter speeds. You're probably overexposing it and blowing it out. Also are you shooting a full moon? I've found that crescent moons are much better. Check out the moons in my gallery, and you might see what I mean. Look at the second one and see if it looks similar to yours, because I think that's what I did to it too.

The moon is like any other object in sunlight. Treat it the same way...sunny 16 or 11 rule.
By the by, nice gallery....:-)
