Photography Question

buying digial

I am in the market for a dgital slr with capabilities of nature/wildlife specialty. I would like to have the option of a remote shutter release. I have a nikon n80 but would be willing to go another brand becauase my lenses are not nikon , they are off brand.

Rosalind, there are remote releases available from Nikon (look up the ML3) as well, I believe, as some from third part companies. Is your plan to leave the camera in a blind and fire remotely when the subject shows up?

Bob yes I was thinking of hiding in the bushee or in a blind and fire remotely.

Rosalind: I assume you own independent brand lenses in Nikon autofocus mount. If so, they will work with a Nikon digital SLR.

The Nikon D70, newer D70s and more affordable D50 all accept an optional wireless controller.

Remote Control ML-L3 wireless remote controller . See www.dpreview.com/news/0504/05042003nikond70s.php

So, any of these cameras would be suitable.
