If you just want to put your photos into a book for your own use, or to give as gifts, sell to clients, etc. try mypublisher.com

If you want to publish a book that will show up in bookstores, you need to contact a publishing company (and have a lot of luck on your side.)

Another site you might want to look at is lulu.com
I've looked at this site, but I have not tried it out. It looks like a neat idea, though. You compile a book, or a photo calendar, or other product, and upload it. You then decide how much profit you want to make from each sale. They add their printing costs and offer the item on their site for the total price. If someone buys your product, you get what you asked for.
